VILA OPTIK was founded in 1995 in Lorenzago Di Codore, a small village in the Province of Belluno, Itaiy. High in the Alps this beautiful and unique mountainous environment is known all over the world as the Dolomites.

This beautiful environment in which we live has many mountainous forms and colours. The people from this region called Il Cadore have always been known f or their originality and creativity. Their products have always expressed very high artistic value. Tiziono Vecellio e Geremia Grandelis are just two of the many artists known worldwide which came from this region.

Eyeglasses and sunglasses are the main source of industry in this region. VILA OPTIK opened a small factory manufacturing eyeglass and sunglass frames. In just a few short years due to the high demand for the products, we converted our methods of manufacturing these products from machine to laser. The laser al lows us to cut and design on many different types of materials.
